How to Book a Test Ride at Trichur TVS · Step-by-Step Guide#

Booking a test ride at Trichur TVS is free, takes 2 minutes online and is usually confirmed within 24 hours. Step 1: Pick the model (or models) you want to ride#

Before booking, decide which 1-3 models you want to test ride. The right shortlist depends on your use case.

Step 2: Book online, by phone or walk in#

There are three ways to book a Trichur TVS test ride.

Online (recommended)#

1. Visit our test ride booking page.
2. Pick the model(s), preferred showroom and date.
3. Enter your name, phone number and (optional) WhatsApp number.
4. Submit · you will get a confirmation SMS within 30 minutes and a callback within 24 hours.

By phone#

Walk in#

Drop into any showroom during opening hours (Mon-Sat 9am-8pm, Sun 10am-6pm). Bring your DL and we can usually get you on a bike within 15 minutes for popular models.

Step 3: Bring the right documents#

You will need:

• Valid driving licence (DL) · Indian or international (1-year+ validity preferred)
• For motorcycles: DL must include MCWG (with gear) or MCWOG category
• For scooters: any two-wheeler DL works
• Phone number and one address proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / Passport) · only checked, not retained

You do not need:

• Cash or card
• Vehicle insurance (we cover the test ride)
• Helmet (we provide an ISI-certified helmet)
• Riding gear (recommended but not required)

Step 4: Arrive at the showroom#

Plan to arrive 10 minutes before your slot. Our showrooms are easy to find:

• Gosaikunnu: 11/206, Ernakulam Road, opposite Ghosh Gym. Free parking on premise.
• Chalakudy: Vellikulam Road, opposite CCMK Hospital. Parking on the road.
• Kuriachira EV: 12/206 Gosaikunnu, Kuriachira. Adjacent to main showroom.

Our reception team will check your DL, brief you on the test ride loop and the bike's controls, and hand over the keys with an ISI helmet.

Step 5: The test ride itself#

A standard Trichur TVS test ride covers a 2-3 km loop designed to give you a real feel of the bike across:

• City crawl (low-speed handling)
• A short straight (acceleration test)
• A speed breaker section (suspension feel)
• A small incline (engine pickup)
• A controlled braking zone (brake feel and ABS)

For higher-displacement bikes (RTR 200 4V, RTR 310, RTX 300), the route extends to ~5 km to let you spend more time in upper gears. For the iQube, we include a section on smooth tarmac so you can feel the regen braking.

A Trichur TVS staff member rides alongside on a separate bike for the first lap if you are new to the model · and gives you helpful pointers on ergonomics, gear feel and any questions you have.

Step 6: Compare models back-to-back (optional but recommended)#

This is the single biggest reason to book in advance. If you want to compare, for example, the Jupiter 125 vs Ntorq 125 or the Raider 125 vs Apache RTR 160 4V, our team will line both up and you can ride them within 30 minutes of each other. The contrast is far easier to feel than reading specs.

Step 7: Post-ride discussion#

After the ride we sit down for 5-10 minutes to:

• Answer questions about the bike (mileage, EMI, finance, colours, accessories)
• Run the on-road price calculation specifically for your case
• Show available finance schemes (TVS Credit, HDFC, ICICI, Bajaj Finance)
• Walk through trade-in valuation if you have an existing two-wheeler
• Reserve a unit for you (₹2,000 refundable booking amount, optional)

There is zero pressure to buy. Many of our customers test ride 2-3 times across a few weeks before deciding · that is completely normal and welcome.
